Director of Change & Delivery

Shared role across Chorley Council and South Ribble Borough Council

Salary: £86,034 per annum

  • Chorley and South Ribble: two ambitious councils with plans and programmes to match. We want to continue to respond to the challenges the councils and our boroughs face while improving the services we deliver. In this role, you will provide leadership for our key programmes for improvement, change and delivery.

    Working closely with colleagues across the senior leadership team and the wider organisations, you will make sure that change and delivery are well led and coordinated. You will also engage with councillors, stakeholders and partners to ensure that our plans align with wider public service reform and change, advocating for the councils’ vision for their boroughs.

  • To be successful in this role, you will be able to draw on your experience of managing complex change programmes, working with stakeholders and partners, and operating at a senior level in complex organisations.

    You will be passionate about the role of local government and wider public services, and knowledgeable about the challenges we face and potential approaches the councils should take.
